Reginald and Stephanie's huge wedding celebration at home was a heartwarming occasion that was filled with much joy, laughter, and the warmth of families and friends that stood close to their hearts.
It was the natural thing for friends-turned-couple Reginald and Stephanie, several years after they met through a close friend and that was getting married. "We just decided that we were ready to take our relationship to the next level so we started looking for wedding venues," laughs Stephanie.
The couple focused on what they wanted for their big day, and it was simply to share their day of happiness and bliss with their closest kin and friends. Their wedding was to be heartwarming, intimate and teeming with fun activities, so having the party at each other's homes where both their families could easily attend without fuss was the wedding they envisioned for themselves.
As Reginald and Stephanie's bridesmaids and groomsmen worked through the gatecrashing ceremony, Stephanie prepared for the day's wedding celebrations in her room. Her gown was an ethereal masterpiece made by Time Taken to Make a Dress and Stephanie glowed in the lace fit-and-flare gown with an illusion neckline and lace applique. Her cream-toned floral bouquet was filled with pastel pink, orange and ivory roses.
Reginald was well-fitted in a customised, casual black suit by Private Affair Clothier and arrived in a striking red Lexus to pick up his bride. The couple then proceeded to Reginald's house for the tea ceremony and the real celebrations began, with Stephanie changing into a traditional white and red cheongsam after.
"Stephanie's family is big so we had to manage the large groups otherwise it would be chaotic! We tried to keep it as real and as close to our hearts as possible," shares Reginald.
