Kayra and Christopher tied the knot with a beautiful outdoor wedding, which Kayra said was her greatest achievement yet. "Not only because I married my best friend and the man of my dreams, but I was also able to pull off a tastedul wedding with a really tight budget!" Kayra recalled. She did so by doing a lot of DIY, from their invitations which were painted and sketched by Kayra herself, to the 3D name place cards. Kayra even made her own decorations like the personalized beer bottles, lawn games for the guests to enjoy, and even learned how to sew just a month before the wedding just so she could make some of the bridesmaids' dresses! "These are all what I had to do as a bride on budget, but I enjoyed every second of it," She added.
Prior to the wedding day, Kayra and Chris chose their color palette and settled with white, gray, and a hint of blush for that pop of color. Since their theme was a bit of rustic and countryside, they did not use much decoration for the tables and toyed with greens, wood and copper elements. There were different shades of gray for the entourage and a touch of blush for the wedding favors and invitations It was all so charming and pretty.
Kayra was a breathtaking sight in her wedding dress, a flowing white gown with ethereal details on the shoulder. Christopher also looked dapper himself in a three-piece grey tweed suit and a matching boutonnière. The wedding felt more homey and welcoming all thanks to hanging polaroid pictures of the guests and games prepared beforehand by the couple such as snakes & ladder for the children and beer pong. Looking at the wedding photos, we guess it's safe to say that the wedding was an understated beauty. "Everything was cohesive down to the smallest detail. I'm still quite obsessed with the overall outcome!" Kayra enthused.
Take another look at the wedding album and without further ado, add photos you love to the inspiration board!
