Today's couple showed us that there are many ways to throw the wedding of your dreams. After realizing that they couldn't get married in Bali, Jessica and Kevin had to improvise. "We decided to bring a Balinese atmosphere to Jakarta instead," said Jessica. Luckily, they found the right venue to make it happen. "When I first saw The Residence ONFIVE at Grand Hyatt Jakarta, it was love at first sight. It's such a unique venue that feels like a piece of Bali in Jakarta," she continued.
In order to maintain an intimate, romantic, and not-too-formal atmosphere, Jessica opted for a rustic garden wedding theme. "I wanted a wedding that everyone could enjoy, something that could make the guests feel like they are part of the celebration. That was accomplished through the magic touch of The Bloomingbuds, who created a warm and welcoming ambience," she explained.
The warmth and attention to detail even extended to her bridesmaids' dresses. "I personalized each dress by myself according to each bridesmaid's personality, to bring out her best features and make sure that everyone's happy," said the beautiful bride. Jessica herself looked stunning in a simple yet intricate hand-beaded dress by Soko Wiyanto. "We've been best friends for years and he knows me inside out. I trusted him to design my wedding dress according to what he thinks will suit me best, and he did it!" Jessica reminisced.
After almost one year of planning, Jessica was blown away when her hard work finally paid off. "When I walked into the venue, everything came together so beautifully. It was truly breathtaking, even better than how I pictured it," she said.
For other brides-to-be, Jessica shared some tips on throwing the perfect wedding. "To ensure that my vision could be translated into reality, I chose my vendors very thoroughly. I couldn't have done it without the vendors who were willing to do anything to make things run smoothly," she said. "Last but not least, remember that it's your wedding. Go with whatever makes you happy, not what people think it should be. Don't stress yourself too much!"
