No matter how great the love you share with each other, marriage is a journey that is tough on everyone. While every husband may have their own idea of what makes a blissful marriage, there are a few common fears that husbands share. Here's our top 5 findings of what men fear the most when they become husbands.

No more sex
They say, "Get married and the sex will stop." Most married couple will agree that sex can feel like a bit of a routine after a while. To be married and to be occupied with work and kids and household errands can exhaust both the husband and wife, thus bumping sex to the lowest position of your priorities. In order to conquer his fear, you must work together to bring intimacy back to the top of your lists. It's not going to be easy, when you feel like a hamster running in the wheel called life, but you got to make the effort to bring the excitement back. It's doable and it's certainly worth your effort.

Not having 'our-time'
When it was just the two of you, he felt like he could have your undivided attention. Even after marriage and parenting, he still wants the rights to have you all to himself, without having to share you with the children, your work, your family, even your friends.

Not having 'my-time'
The idea of being married means "all work and no play" scares the heck out of a man. It scares us women too, right? Let him enjoy a "boys night out" once in a while where he can blow off some steam with other guys. In the meantime, you can pour yourself a glass of wine and read a book in the comfort of your own home too. It's going to do so much good for the both of you.

Not earning enough money
Men find their identity in their ability to provide, so there's a lot of ego attached to how much money he makes. The fear of not earning enough money and not be able to provide enough for his family can really scare a man. Give him the appreciation he deserves and show him how proud of him you are. Money is important but he has to realize that life can be so much more than constantly worrying about money.

Losing the job
If not earning enough money is scary for a man, imagine losing the job. If you see your husband easily gets irritated or totally apathetic when it comes to working issue, you need to be prepared for those are characteristic features of depression for men with this fear. Unfortunate events are inevitable, but your support should remain constant. When the fear hits him, remind him that both of you is always going to be one solid team no matter what happens.
