Khalil & Sheila Wedding
by Baraka photography

Updated on 16 May 2024, Yogyakarta

Efforts to create an eco-friendly wedding celebration continued. To save electricity and get better air circulation during the pandemic, the event was held outdoors. Separate bins were provided to segregate leftovers, especially organic waste that could have a second, more meaningful life. Mrs. Katinem from the @rapel_id collector sincerely and wholeheartedly helped and educated guests about waste segregation. The amount of leftover consumption that was weighed became an area for improvement for the Savitri team. In the decorations, efforts were made to reduce the use of oasis by finding alternative replacements. Mrs. Vitri's husband had researched this, while Ms. Putri and Mr. Adrian helped execute it. Post-event flowers were also sorted and distributed together with @jogja.berbunga, making many faces beam with smiles. The newlywed groom, Mr. @khalilurrahman7, did not hesitate to use the prepared glasses and refill stations, as well as reusable tableware. Ms. @sheilaenbe, who is intelligent, mature, and caring, also helped make this event a success. Gratitude was expressed to the earth and all those who helped organize this eco-friendly wedding celebration. No step is too small for goodness, hopefully it can inspire others.
