Rustic Bohemian Wedding at Casa San Pablo, Philippines

Hailing from the Philippines, Bea and Jake made their nuptials an intimate and heartwarming affair. They transformed the vast green space of the Casa San Pablo Bed and Breakfast with a combination of pastel-colored flowers, fairy lights, and an array of rustic details to pull off a bohemian garden theme. Despite that night turning out to be a hot and humid one, it was filled with happy moments that made everything feel absolutely perfect. Bea and Jake invited only 200 of their closest friends and relatives to spend three days together, creating a jovial atmosphere not unlike a big reunion out in the country. Instead of having a traditional reception, they added a touch of their relaxed personality even to the wedding ceremony. It's such a great thing to see how people were laughing and smiling when the couple entered the aisle. One of the things that made this wedding so memorable was how thoughtful the couple were to their guests. They wanted the wedding to not only celebrate their journey as a couple, but also ensure everyone can have a lot of fun. For us, it was the feeling of a casual night with friends that made the wedding memorable. As Jake's dad said during his speech, our wedding was more of an event to make things official, since everyone knew we were bound to end up together in our years as a couple. It was a celebration for our nearest and dearest. We carefully trimmed our guest list to only 200 guests and this resulted to everyone having fun because it was really all about family and friendship and less about a formal wedding celebration. From my hilarious walk down the aisle, wedding vows filled with laughter, to our rap music grand entrance, it was a night of authentic happiness.
