The wedding of Laura and Kyle is the perfect example of a Pacific Northwest wedding. Being avid hikers themselves, they made sure their wedding is outdoorsy, close to nature, and effortlessly beautiful. With lush greens as far as the eye can see, what their wedding needed was only a hint of color. Laura and Kyle opted to complement the greens with burgundy and purple hues and it all lookedlovely. The bridesmaids' deep purple dresses matched nicely with the burgundy, white, and peach bouquet. The other purple elements in the decoration also created a perfect harmony to the whole event. Here is a little word from the photographer:
Laura and Kyle is a great example of what a typical 'Pacific Northwest couple' resembles; they love to hike and everything outdoorsy. Together, the two of them have gone on many hikes and a couple backpacking trips while dating. However, the most special hike was the one in the Columbia Gorge, during which they got engaged. Kyle and Laura are super laid back and easy-going. They enjoy doing things together and have fun doing the most random things, which is a great recipe for a relationship. Their wedding was very inspired by nature, and having it outdoors in a private vineyard with lush green background for the ceremony was just perfect. Something special that Laura added to her wedding was, instead of having little flower girls; she wanted the grandmothers to be part of the wedding party. So both grandmothers walked down the aisle, tossing flower petals. It was such a sweet sight!
